The anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man led by MAPPA was recently announced. Even Part 2 of the manga will soon come to Shonen Jump+, so the Chainsaw Man fans have a lot to be excited about in the coming months. Tatsuki Fujimoto has revealed that Part 2 of the manga will include a “School Arc” after Part 1 was wrapped up with the “Public Safety Arc”. Chainsaw Man is notorious for its unpredictability and it never shies away from killing important characters. If the plot demands their return, they are even brought back. Knowing where Part 1 of the series ended, it won’t be surprising if the trend will continue even in the next installment. Now that we know that Part 2 will have a School Arc let’s look at the possible storylines that creator Tatsuki Fujimoto might explore in Part 2 of the manga. Chainsaw Man Academia The final pages of Part 1 have hinted that Denji will go to school in the next installment. Since he is a 16-year-old who has never visited a school before in his life, it will be entertaining to watch him adjust to his new lifestyle. Not only will he have to deal with his new lifestyle, but he will also have to take care of Nayuta and other threats around him. The limitations of Denji’s powers will also be explored in the process. Reze’s Return Reze made a surprise return along with Quanxi and Katana Man in the final fight. Since she has a tumultuous history with Denji, their reunion might turn ugly this time around. But, regardless of their past, it will be interesting to see Denji pair up with another Devil Hybrid. He mostly fights alone, and if he gets someone as talented as Reze alongside him, it will be immensely beneficial for both of them. In case they fail to reconcile with each other, there is still a lot to look forward to and unpack. Their dark pasts are still a mystery, and the fans will love to know more about them in the upcoming installment. Denji still struggles with the truth that he has killed his father while Reze too, had a mysterious and traumatizing upbringing that still affects her to this day. Since both of them are hybrids, they can share their experiences and help each other liberate themselves from their dark pasts. Power Devil One of the most anticipated arcs of the upcoming manga will be the possible reunion of Power and Denji. When they met last time, Denji formed a contract with Power for her blood, according to which he is supposed to seek the Blood Devil and turn them into Power. Denji is told by her that although Devils can be reborn, they are never the same anymore after their reincarnation. Power used to be Denji’s best friend before she died, and on most popularity polls, she has been ranked as the most adored character from the series. So, her return will greatly benefit both Denji and the manga since most fans want her to make a return. Power gives Denji an opportunity to rebuild the family that was destroyed by Makima. Seeing them in action together will be something that the fans will be looking forward to. Characters like Aldo and Hirofumi are also capable of making a much more meaningful return this time. So, Fujimoto has a lot of storylines to explore. It will be interesting to see where he takes the story from here. No matter which way the story goes now, the fans are definitely in for a treat since they will get to see Denji in action in a completely new setting.
